Allow us to introduce you to the best friend you will ever have: The Way!
In John 14:16, Jesus declared “I am the way, the truth and the life, no man cometh to the Father, but by me”. Jesus is our biggest blessing.
We BELIEVE he is God the Father, who came to Earth in the flesh, lived a sinless life and then sacrificed himself so we would have eternal life with him.
There is nobody like him, and that is the whole point…
Jesus Came For The Sinners: The Truth!
Jesus came to Earth for those who need saving. Those who seek guidance, protection and provision from the Creator of all sources. Jesus came to Earth and was beaten, persecuted, mocked and killed, fulfilling the scriptures in the Old Testament and creating a chance for us to enter Heaven.
In Luke 5:31-32, Jesus states “They that are whole need not a physician, but they that are sick. I came not for the righteous, but sinners to repentance”. In the time of Jesus, the Pharisees (a group of religious people who contributed to his death) wrapped their sin in respectability. Like many people today, they make themselves appear good by publicly doing good deeds and pointing out the sins/flaws of others. Although Jesus loves every one of us, he chose not to spend time with those proud and self-righteous religious leaders, but with people who acknowledged their own sin and knew they needed help in their lives. In order to come to God, we must repent; and in order to turn away from sin, we would recognize it for what it is. Jesus loves you, sin and all, and he wants to show you how to come to God.
God has a special purpose that only you can fulfill for his Will on the Earth. You are custom made… special, unique and oh, so loved!
How Can I Know Jesus Now? The Life.
There are many debates within the scientific and psychological communities about whether the human is comprised of a body, soul and spirit, or not. Many people are not keen on this theory as it is something beyond what our eyes can perceive. Contrary to the study of science, spirituality is a concept that examines the human spirit and soul, as opposed to material and physical things.
John 4:24 states: “God is a spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.” God came to the Earth in the flesh (as his Son, Jesus) lived righteously according his Father’s moral Law, and died, so that whoever believes can also be freed from death according to sin. He was buried and risen from the dead by God’s Holy Spirit, ascending into heaven to sit at the right hand of the Father on the throne. To worship God in spirit, one must look inward rather than outward, beyond what the eyes can perceive. To know Jesus is to acknowledge his presence and seek after the Truth. Truth is not a concept, but rather, Jesus himself (John 4:16). Through prayer, we can acknowledge his presence and communicate with him while forming a personal relationship with him. Prayer is the surest way to communicate with the Father, however there are no limits as to how the Lord choses to speak to his people. The Way, The Truth & The Life.
John 3:16 declares that, “For so God loved the world, that he gave his only begotten son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life”. This is a very well known verse in the Bible, because it so clearly states the foundation of what we call “The Gospel” – the good news that God has given to us.
To believe in Jesus is not just knowing his name, but to seek him and entrust your life into his hands, embracing his death at the cross as full payment for your sins and restoring your relationship with God. Not any good deed that we commit could ever cause us to enter into the Kingdom of Heaven. The only way to receive total forgiveness for our sins is by his Grace through Christ Jesus.
Here are some steps you can take to begin your journey towards the Lord Jesus Christ:
1. Admit that you desperately need a saviour in your life; fathom who created you and where you came from.
2. Believe that Jesus is who he says he is; The Son of God- God in the flesh himself.
3. Confess that you are placing your trust in Jesus to save your soul and change your life. Surrender your life to him and confess that you acknowledge his presence and that you are living to seek him.
