Faith City: The Jamaica Project
For over 5 decades many people have migrated from the island of Jamaica in search of a more prosperous life. Presently, these migrants are part of the aging population who are seeking a commodious environment for retirement. Over the years, many have lost their dreams of returning to the island mainly due to the increase in crime rate and negative stereotypical views. It is imperative thar Jamaica becomes enticing to the natives that have left and others who may want to consider Jamaica as their home.
As the saying goes, “Charity begins at home”, and this is why we have started this project in Jamaica. Furthermore, Clarendon, Jamaica is the birth place of Bishop Dr. Josiah Spencer and if he is to encourage other Jamaicans living abroad to invest in their communities, he must be an example first.

A Better Future For Jamaica
Church of God Deliverance Centre aims to provide an extension of God’s work through 2 multi-purpose building for the people in Clarendon, Jamaica. We have been working to complete these building in the community, equipped with running water and hydro, that acts as a school, church, community centre and more.
We Are Not Done Yet!
This project has been funded through our church body up to date. Due to this uncertain time, the pandemic has made it difficult for us to continue to contribute to this fund. Our goal is to complete this project by the end of 2022 and to provide ongoing support to the citizens of Clarendon through the completed project.
- A Safe Place To Worship Jesus Christ
This building is a safe place for anyone to come and worship Jesus Christ. We hold regular service to help people grow their relationship with God.
- Running Water & Electricity
We have running water hook ups and electricity connected to the building. It is common place for people to access who do not have these things at home.
- School Teachers, Classroom & Supplies
We have hired 1 certified teacher for the 2022 school year to provide the youth with a proper school curriculum based on Christian principles.
- Full Kitchen, Showers, Sinks & Toilets
Our goal is to provide the facility with a full kitchen (including appliances) and shower, sinks and toilets in both the male and female restrooms of the facility.
See What Is Going On Now
We have 2 separate buildings where our worships and learning occurs. Our work is not complete as of yet! Check out our gallery to see more.
